1. Who we are and what this covers

OG STUDIO publishes ListChecked, a checklist app for Android phones and tablets. This policy explains how the app handles your information and how we handle visits to its website and support requests.

ListChecked does not require an account and has no advertising, analytics, tracking SDK, or OG STUDIO-operated cloud storage for your lists. The optional voice and purchase features use services described below.

2. Information stored on your device

ListChecked saves the information needed to keep your lists and remember your choices:

• List names, item text, checked status, item order, and creation or completion timestamps.
• Your saved “My words” vocabulary, used to help recognize and correct familiar words and names.
• Your appearance, voice-pause length, and touch-feedback preferences.
• A local Pro-unlock status so the app can enable purchased features.

This information is kept in the app’s local storage on your device. OG STUDIO does not receive your lists or have remote access to them. ListChecked has no account-based list synchronization.

Device backups. The Android app allows operating-system backups. Depending on your Android version, device provider, and settings, app data may be included in cloud backups or device transfers and restored later. These services are controlled by your device or backup provider, not by an OG STUDIO list server. You can manage them in your device’s backup settings.

3. Optional voice entry and custom words

Voice entry begins when you choose a microphone control and grant microphone permission. You can decline or revoke permission and continue typing. The app stops its listening session when you finish voice entry, leave the list, or move the app into the background.

Speech processing. ListChecked uses Android’s speech recognition service, often provided by Google. It prefers an on-device recognizer on supported devices. Availability depends on the phone, installed speech service, and language resources. If on-device recognition is unavailable or encounters certain service or language errors, the app can fall back to an online recognizer.

An online speech service may transmit audio and related request information to its provider’s servers to produce a transcript. That provider’s privacy policy and settings govern its processing and retention. For Google services, see the Google Privacy Policy. A different service selected on your phone may have different practices.

My words. Saved custom words are used locally to correct likely pronunciation mix-ups. On supported Android versions, the app also passes these words to the speech recognizer as vocabulary hints while you dictate. The recognizer may process those hints along with the speech request, including through its online service. Avoid saving sensitive words or names if you do not want them provided to that service.

ListChecked does not save audio recordings or send them to OG STUDIO. Microphone-level information is used on the device to help detect pauses between items. Recognized text is kept locally as list content. You can review, edit, and delete it.

4. Android permissions and their purpose

Microphone

Enables optional speech-to-text entry. It is requested when you choose voice entry; keyboard entry does not require it.

Internet access

Supports network-dependent services such as online speech recognition and Google Play Billing. Core list creation, editing, and checking work offline.

Vibration

Provides optional touch feedback. Turn “Vibrate on tap” off in the app’s Settings if you prefer.

Google Play Billing

Enables the optional Pro purchase and checks or restores purchase ownership through Google Play.

ListChecked does not request your location, contacts, camera, photos, or access to read other apps. You can manage microphone permission in Android Settings → Apps → ListChecked → Permissions. Names and available controls vary by device.

5. ListChecked Pro and Google Play

ListChecked Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase through Google Play. Google processes payment and purchase records under its own terms and privacy policy. ListChecked does not receive your payment-card details.

The app communicates with Google Play to query products, initiate a purchase, check purchase status, acknowledge a purchase, and restore ownership. Google Play provides purchase information, including status and a purchase token, for these operations. The app saves a local unlock status to enable Pro. It does not send purchase tokens to an OG STUDIO server.

OG STUDIO may access the purchase, order, and transaction reporting that Google Play makes available to developers to manage sales, refunds, support, and accounting. Clearing app storage does not cancel a purchase or erase Google’s transaction records. Use the same Google Play account and the app’s Restore option to restore a qualifying Pro purchase.

6. Sharing a list is your choice

Pro lets you share a list as plain text through Android’s share menu or copy it to your clipboard. Shared text includes the list’s name, item text, and checked or unchecked markers.

When you choose a destination, that app or recipient receives the text under its own practices. Clipboard contents may be available to your operating system or other apps according to device settings and permissions. ListChecked does not automatically send your lists to OG STUDIO or other people. Copies you share are separate from the original list.

7. Website visits and support requests

Website. Our hosting provider may process normal connection information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested page, and access time, to deliver, maintain, and protect ogstudioapps.com. The ListChecked landing page and privacy page do not include advertising or analytics scripts.

The website saves your optional light/dark theme choice in browser local storage. The sample checklist runs in the page’s memory and resets on reload. Its voice demonstration uses preset text, does not request microphone access, and does not send list interactions to us.

Support. If you email support@ogstudioapps.com, we receive your address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to reply and resolve your request. Screenshots or exported lists may contain personal information; include only what you intend to share.

App stores, operating systems, speech services, backup services, and email providers may process information independently under their own policies.

8. How information is used and protected

We do not sell or rent personal information or use it for targeted advertising. OG STUDIO does not collect your local list content through the app. The optional speech, sharing, backup, purchase, and support flows described above may involve other providers.

Information we receive through support, website operation, or purchase administration may be handled by providers needed to deliver those services. We may also disclose information when required by law. Access should be limited to the people and providers who need it for those purposes.

Local app data relies on Android’s app-storage and device protections. Protect your device and review your backup and sharing settings. No storage or transmission method is guaranteed completely secure.

9. Retention, deletion, and your choices

Lists and custom words. Delete a list or item inside the app to remove it from the app’s active local storage. Remove saved vocabulary in Settings → My words. A short undo opportunity may be offered after a deletion.

All local app data. Use Android Settings → Apps → ListChecked → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app, to remove its current local data. Names vary by device. There is no ListChecked account or OG STUDIO cloud list history to delete. Device backups may retain or later restore copies; manage those separately through your backup provider.

Exports and other providers. Remove shared copies or clipboard contents separately where they are stored. Speech-service information, Google Play records, and backup data are subject to those providers’ retention policies and privacy controls.

Website data. Clear ogstudioapps.com site data in your browser to remove the saved theme preference. Host connection logs are retained according to hosting-provider settings and operational needs.

Support and transaction records. We keep information needed to resolve support requests, administer purchases, prevent fraud, or meet legal and accounting obligations for as long as those purposes require. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing us. We may need to verify your request and retain records required by law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights.

10. Children’s privacy

ListChecked is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. OG STUDIO does not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as ListChecked’s features or data practices change. The current version will be published at ogstudioapps.com/lc/pp.html with an updated effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change takes effect.
