Privacy policy

1. Who we are and what this covers

OG STUDIO publishes MPM: Multi PC Monitor, MPM: Multi PC Monitor - PRO and the companion MPM Agent. This policy describes how the Android apps and companion agent handle information when you pair computers, view their readings, verify a Pro purchase, visit our MPM website or contact us.

Neither Android edition contains advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. MPM has no OG STUDIO account system or OG STUDIO telemetry backend. Pro uses Google Play purchase verification as described below.

2. PC readings and device pairing

MPM Agent reads supported CPU load, memory use, storage usage, GPU activity, temperatures and hardware and operating-system information from a computer you choose to monitor. Availability depends on the computer’s hardware, drivers and permissions. The app uses these readings to display that computer’s status and recent performance.

Readings travel directly from the agent to viewers you pair, over an encrypted connection with certificate verification. The devices exchange network addresses and the connection and authentication information needed to communicate. These readings and pairing credentials are not sent to an OG STUDIO cloud service.

Pairing uses a PC key and a one-use code. The agent keeps an authorized-viewer record so it can recognize permitted connections. You can revoke a viewer through MPM Agent Status on the computer.

MPM does not provide remote desktop, capture screenshots, read your file contents or use your camera or microphone. Android monitoring pauses while the app is in the background. Monitor only computers you own or are authorized to access.

3. Information stored on your devices

The Android app stores the information needed to reconnect and remember your choices in protected app storage:

• Saved PC addresses, ports, display names and organization preferences.
• Certificate fingerprints and revocable pairing credentials.
• Dashboard skins, display options and other app preferences.
• For Pro, an encrypted purchase-verification record.

Recent readings are kept in app memory for up to ten minutes and discarded when the app closes. MPM does not upload this history to OG STUDIO.

The companion agent keeps its identity, certificate and authorized-viewer records on the PC. Local service or operating-system diagnostic records may also exist under the computer’s logging settings; MPM does not automatically send them to OG STUDIO.

Profile exports. If you export or copy profiles, the export includes PC addresses, names and preferences but excludes pairing credentials. Imported computers must be paired again. The clipboard, file location, app or person you choose to share with receives that exported information and may retain its own copy.

The Android app disables Android application backup. Device-level migration tools or backups you configure on a computer may have their own behavior. Manage those copies through the relevant device or backup service.

4. Android permissions and their purpose

Network access

Connects the dashboard to the PC agents you pair over your local network or an authorized VPN. Pro also needs online Google Play purchase verification. MPM does not supply a VPN or cloud relay.

Google Play license checking — Pro only

Allows Pro to ask the Google Play application whether the installed app is licensed. Free does not use this license-checking service.

MPM does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, screen-recording or accessibility-service access. It does not use advertising identifiers. Your operating system and the external apps you choose to open control their own permissions and data handling.

5. Google Play purchases and verification

Google Play handles downloads, purchases and refunds under Google’s policies. MPM does not receive your payment-card details or store your Google account name. OG STUDIO may receive store sales reports or limited transaction information needed for purchase support and accounting.

Pro asks the Google Play application to verify that the installed app is licensed to your store account. Google processes the store-account and purchase information needed for that check. MPM validates Google’s signed license response on your device and stores an encrypted verification record locally. An app-specific user identifier in the response is validated and discarded. PC readings and pairing credentials are not sent for purchase verification.

After successful verification, that installation can operate offline for up to 90 days. Online rechecks are attempted when due while you use Pro, normally daily. A refund or revoked license reported by Google pauses Pro access without erasing saved PCs or settings. Offline use cannot immediately detect a remote refund or account change. Reinstallation requires verification again.

App stores and operating systems may independently process installation and diagnostic information under their own settings. See Google’s Privacy Policy for Google’s handling of information.

6. Support and website visits

Support. If you email support@ogstudioapps.com, we receive your email address, message and any screenshots or files you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request and resolve the issue. Do not send pairing codes, tokens or private keys. Remove unnecessary personal or network information from screenshots and diagnostic files before sharing them.

Our website. Our hosting provider may process normal connection information, including your IP address, browser type, requested page and access time, to deliver and protect the website. The MPM pages contain no advertising or analytics scripts. An optional color-theme preference is saved in your browser’s local storage; clearing the website’s site data removes it.

External services. Opening a store, website or support email uses your chosen browser, store or email service. These providers process information independently under their own policies.

7. Sharing and protecting information

We do not sell or rent personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or share your PC readings with advertisers. Your chosen paired viewers receive PC readings as described above. Google Play verification, exports and services you choose to open involve the recipients described in this policy.

Support and purchase information may be handled by providers needed to deliver email, host the website, support purchases or meet accounting obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law. We limit access to information you send us to people and providers who need it for these purposes.

MPM uses encrypted device connections and verifies the paired PC’s certificate. Local data also relies on your operating system’s app-storage and user-account protections. Keep your devices secure and revoke viewers you no longer trust. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Retention, deletion and your choices

Local app data. Saved PC profiles, preferences and pairing information remain until you remove them or clear the relevant app data. Recent readings are held only in memory for up to ten minutes. There is no OG STUDIO account or cloud telemetry history to delete.

• Remove a PC in MPM to delete its saved profile from that Android app.
• Revoke a viewer in MPM Agent Status to remove its access to the PC. Removing the Android app alone does not delete the agent’s viewer record.
• Use Android Settings → Apps → MPM → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app, to remove its local configuration and cached verification record. Device labels may differ. Free and Pro have separate app storage.
• Stop and remove MPM Agent and its local data if you no longer want to monitor a PC. Uninstalling software may leave configuration or diagnostic files behind; contact support if you need help removing them.
• Delete profile exports, clipboard copies and backups separately wherever you saved or shared them.

Support and purchase records. We retain these only as long as needed to answer requests, support purchases, prevent fraud and meet applicable legal or accounting obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion of information you provided to OG STUDIO by emailing us. We may need to verify your request and retain records that the law requires us to keep.

For information held independently by Google, a device provider, a backup service or another selected service, use that provider’s privacy controls or contact details.

9. Children’s privacy

MPM is a general-purpose computer-monitoring tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to OG STUDIO, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as MPM’s features or data practices change. The current policy will remain available at ogstudioapps.com/mpm/pp.html with an updated effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change takes effect.
