Is Orbly a website or an installed app?
Orbly is a downloadable app for your device. The timer on this page is an interactive simulation. Drag it anywhere within this webpage and tuck it into any of the four edges. It stays in your browser tab; the installed app provides the desktop floating window and platform controls.
Will it float over every app?
Orbly is designed for ordinary app windows. Android requires overlay permission and hides overlays on some protected screens. Fullscreen apps and system prompts can cover desktop Orbly. Linux positioning depends on the desktop environment.
Does it work offline?
Yes. No Orbly account is required, and the timer works without internet. Downloads and installation may need a connection. Optional spoken nudges depend on an installed offline voice.
Is Orbly coming to iPhone or Mac?
Orbly is currently planned for Windows, Android, and Linux. Apple versions are not offered here.
Are the controls identical on every device?
The core timer and faceplates are shared. Desktop editions add mouse and keyboard controls; Android adds a compact remote, notifications, and optional vibration. Some features depend on your platform.
